Fuckin' SNOW, You Guys!

Oh my god, you guys!!!  !!!I TOUCHED SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

Books Read in December and January
Sabriel
by Garth Nix - Okay, this deserves a comment.  Do you like fantasy and/or kick ass female heroes?  Because OH MY GOD!  I don't read much fantasy but I stayed up because I didn't want to stop reading!  Also, it's the only book I've seen rated 4.8 stars on Amazon with over 1,000 reviews.  I can't wait to read the rest of the series.  Read it read it read it!!

The Spiderwick Chronicles 1 - 5 by Holly Black
October Country by Ray Bradbury
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple (Oh god, I hated the characters so much that I stopped less than a quarter in.  Yes, I know it’s satire but, holy Christ, I couldn’t deal with my seething rage!)
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Boston Posh by Wol-vriey (The grossest book I’ve ever read.  For some reason, that’s a compliment!  You should be able to read my review here.)

  1. Hahaha, awesome! I live on the Canadian prairies (and was raised here, then got to move around a lot, before settling down here again) and snow was always a part of my life. One of my favourite things about working at a university is seeing international students witnessing snow for the first time. The sheer wonder and enjoyment of something that is, to me, so mundane... It's really wonderful. So thank you for putting a bit of wonderful into my life, today. <3

    1. "Wonder" is the perfect word! I kept standing at the window, looking at the snow, with a huge goofy grin on my face! <3 <3 <3
