I attended a chair yoga class at the gym and it was pretty damn awesome! Just me and a roomful of old folks in the senior center. I had to do a couple of modifications but I felt completely at ease doing so. Holy god, my balance is now non-existent. I used to be able to perch on one leg for a crazy amount of time and now I can’t manage it for even a couple of seconds. The class is an hour long and it definitely got my heart pumping. You know, I really enjoyed it! I’m surprised at how good I felt afterward, both emotionally and physically! I’m going to try to go every Monday and Wednesday, and swim afterward. And maybe the steam room after that. I read that steaming can potentially help with pain so we’ll see how that feels. Once I can manage that I want to add in some walking so I can work towards completing a 5k in 2014.
Speaking of 2014, my roommates will be moved out by January 1st and I’m really looking forward to doing some nesting. I’m going to scrub the place down and start going room by room to make the place feel more like a home. I have a list and Carter is going to help me with some projects and (if my landlord approves it) painting some accent walls. I’m excited to do some cheap decorating! Even though this place is a shit hole, I know I’ll be here for quite awhile and I deserve to live somewhere amazing!
I had one of my ultimate sexual fantasies come to fruition! Which was awesome! And it was just as good as I’d hoped. Based on a question I received, I’m writing an entry about how to get awesome no-strings-attached sex and I’m hoping I’ll be done in the next week or so.
