New Additions

First things first! My friend has a design up for voting at threadless! And I need you to go score it a 5 because this needs to be on my body immediately!

A friend mine needed to find a home for her two cats. Her partner is super duper allergic (to the point of barely being able to function when he visits) and is going to be moving in soon. And if she didn't find them a home, they'd have to be taken to the shelter. So...guess who has kitties now! Four years old, from the same litter.

Ashley called dibs on naming them. Which works out well because I'm terrible at naming pets. So she named them Patty and Selma. As they're now living in Spinster City. I decided to name the pushy little cuddlemonger Patty as she's constantly crawling all over my tits.

She is the pushiest little attention seeker ever! Whenever she's awake, she's trying to climb up my chest or into my arms. And she prefers to sleep on my side or on my head. Also?  She drools.

They were both mostly outdoor cats in the country and had frequent run ins with ferals. So they have some scabs and scars.

They both also have these adorable big, fluffy, white bellies barely covering pink skin.

The much shyer one is Selma. She's a bit of a runner/hider.

If I approach slowly, she lets me pet her to pieces while she purrs and head butts me. Other times she gives me massive side-eye, as evidenced here...

So that's my new family. I decided that having cats again would really help my mental health. And if it means having to eat Ramen a few extra days a month, it's totally worth it. And the pictures will probably always suck since I have zero sunlight in my trailer! So I'll try to not post many of them!

  4. I am so happy you have some kitties! If I may make a suggestion, please consider buying them some good cat food. Nutro makes a really great dry food. The huge bag is like $24 and lasts my one cat more than a month! And she eats like crazy. It's way better than the cheap shit at the grocery, and even is more cost-effective! Cheers. http://www.nutro.com/natural-cat-food/natural-choice-cat-food.aspx
