Man, I didn't do well this month!  After nearly a book a day last month, I think I was a bit burnt out.  Hopefully June sees an improvement!

Thanks to a couple of gift cards – one of which I won from I Read Odd Books – I was able to buy two yoga DVDs for folks with physical limitations.  HeavyWeight Yoga: Yoga for the Body You Have Today and Big Yoga Flex-Ability!  I'm excited.  Nervous but super excited.  I'm just so stiff and inflexible these days and I desperately want to change that.  So I think this will be a good start!  I also think it could help me feel more in tune and connected with my body.  Which is always a wonderful thing.  I'll make sure to do a review of them both one I give them a try.

A few friends and I are doing pen and paper letter writing!  I used to have so many pen pals and I've missed it.  It's terribly exciting to get something in the mail that isn't a sales flyer or a bill.  Yay for friends who agree!

The year is ½ over so I think it's time to create a plan for the remainder of 2012 and maybe a rough outline of 2013.  I think if I create baby steps and focus hard on not taking on so much that I get overwhelmed, frustrated, and give up I can be successful.

  1. I actually really liked "Stiff" - but then, I've always had an obsession with biology, and I love all the weird medical shows on TV, and I own at least four seasons of CSI on DVD.

I love the idea of pen pals but I think after so many years of computer-ing my handwriting is not so legible. But I do miss buying fun stationery. Remember those stores at the mall that were just paper and envelopes and little containers and stuff? And the paper was sold by the pound so you could pick out two or three sheets of every kind? Holy crap I could sit there for hours.

    1. I'm crazy obsessed with medical stuff and criminal/medical shows too.

My hands hurts so quickly when I write now! And YES! I was such a huge collector of stationary and stickers!
