Less than a week until The Great Southern Fried Adventure of 2010 with Poliana takes place! It’s going to be so nice to get away and to spend time with someone awesome. There’s going to be beer and swimming and laughing and deep fried pickles! It’s going to rule, I know it.
My new mood stabilizers seem to be working. So far, so good. And they totally help me sleep which is a much-needed bonus. Only noticeable side effect thus far is an extremely dry mouth.
I love the tattoo! And I'm so glad your meds are working. We need to hang out again when you get back!

Please be cautious about swimming while you heal a fresh tattoo. Soaking in pool water can irritate the skin and damage the crispness of your line. Swimming in pond, lake or ocean water can expose you to bacteria that can make you sick, ruin your lines, or fade your color.
ReplyDeletethe tattoo is great. Soon you will be showing it off to everyone. Glad you are getting some sleep and have something good to look forward to.
ReplyDelete=3 It's a fantastic quote.
ReplyDeleteHi! I've been reading through your lj posts and now your website. I admire you and your writing, so I am a new fan of yours. I think your new tattoo is really striking, and I wish you a good trip. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Being a big-time book nerd myself, I think it's incredible.
ReplyDeleteAlso, just wanted to ask if you've seen this blog:

It's a fun mix of the hilarious & the horrifying - weren't you thinking of getting into phone sex at some point?
Yay for books! And legs! And Heidi!
ReplyDeleteOH, that tattoo is beautiful. That classic American Typewriter font is one of my absolute favorites -- it always reminds me of Snoopy sitting on top of his doghouse typing "It was a dark and stormy night...". I use it on my posters and postcards a ton. Congrats on a gorgeous, happy leg!!
