Attack of the Sugar Monster!

I met a super cool girl who I’ve been hanging out with. Tasha of Red Vinyl Shoes. I absolutely adore her and we get along really well. She’s so much fun and we’re planning one hell of an awesome adventure! A gazillion pictures to follow, I’m sure.

Another very cool girl I met online is going to teach me to crochet! I’m super excited. I’ve wanted to learn to either knit or crochet for so many years. Yay yay yay! We’ve been talking since the summer but have yet to meet in person. We’ve finally made set-in-stone plans to hang out and for her to give me my first crochet lesson.

Yay for new friends! And yay for getting my butt out of the house and meeting people!

Ugh, my knee is hurting so badly. It feels as if I pulled the muscle behind it so I’m hobbling around like an old woman. Hopefully it’ll be better soon. In the meantime, I’m hella gimpy. And loathing the stairs in both directions.

Therapy yesterday. I’m trying to see him as frequently as possible. Which, unfortunately, isn’t as frequently as I’d like since he’s up in San Francisco a lot of the time running a study as well as traveling the country speaking on addiction. But I’m squeezing myself into his schedule as often as I can. I’m trying really hard to focus on self-care and therapy is a big part of that for me. Of course, the fact that I love my therapist makes it a bit easier.
