Terror

God, I’m so fucking paralyzed. I don’t know how to break out of this.

    2. Have a glass of water

    3. Pick something small, like wipe down your bathroom sink.

    4. Look at your now clean bathroom sink and realise that you got some productive shit done.

    5. Rinse and repeat.

    Just don't think of anything else but the one step you are doing at that time. If something else pops in your head put it in a box, close the lid and put the box on a shelf. You don't need to do it now. And remember to breath!!! Consciously relax your stomach muscles and breath with your diaphragm. I also have crazy anxiety so I so get it.

  3. Heidi, this is exactly what I deal with.

    Do one thing. Just one thing. Anything. As someone suggested above, clean out the bathroom sink. Gather up some trash to toss. You can do it, anyone can do just one thing. Tell yourself, I will spend two or three minutes on this thing, and I'll be done.

    It works, just take a deep breath, and focus. You've got this, it's just one little thing, right?

  4. One foot in front of the other. When my mom was ill it used to make me mad that the world wouldn't stop while I caught my breath! Looking back though I think this is probably a good thing. Better to move past it then to get stuck in it! How is your mom doing? I pray for both of you. It's such an incredibly hard thing when the only constant person in your life is struggling. It seems you have a great support system here and I sure hope that helps you. Hang in there!
