"The tales and misadventures of a super sweet girl making her way through a cavity filled world. Watch her thwart life's dangers with her special blend of sass, guileless wit, self deprecation, and a giant dash of glitter. A magical, frosting-covered metamorphosis of self-discovery and reclamation!" I didn't write this about myself...I'm not a TOTAL asshole!
29/365 Brunch! The very first steak I’ve ever made. It was overcooked, especially because I like it rare. But I think I did a better job on the other half. We shall see. Alongside my beloved roasted Brussels sprouts.
Just read about your high school teacher who offered you a place to live. That's fantastic! I hope you will let her do her good deed and accept her offer. I am sure it will do you a world of good to be with someone who loves you and wants to help. You can do it. You can.....just click your red shoes and make a wish..... You've always had the power, my dear!
Hi, long time reader, first time commenter! Just wanted to cheer you on with regards to your cooking and give you a few tips. I have been a long time LJ'er but just started a new food blog: http://foodiescientist.wordpress.com/
As far as the steak goes, we did this last time we made steaks, and it turned out fabulously: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/pan-seared-rib-eye-recipe/index.html
Also if you like roasted Brussels sprouts, you might love roasted broccoli! http://www.amateurgourmet.com/2008/11/the_best_brocco.html
