Decision

31/365

God bless the inventor of Vicodin. Pain, pain, gone away…

Well. I accepted my former teachers help and told her I’d love to stay with them until I can get back on my feet. It was the scariest fucking email I’ve ever written! I told her I needed somewhere to stay for a few months and if that was too long to please tell me. Because my biggest fear in all of this is to be an intrusion or an inconvenience. Apparently it’s not a problem. We’re going to talk in a couple of days to iron out the details.

I’m still scared as hell. But this takes a huge weight off my shoulders. And really could be the absolute best thing to happen to me.

  5. Heidi, I read your blog all the time. I have never commented but I am pulling for you and I just want to say that I feel very proud of you for making this decision for yourself. I think that this can be a real turning point in your life and that you are very fortunate to have this opportunity so its wonderful that you are going to try it. I really hope that it helps you and allows you the time to get caught up and to the point that you can get back out and on your own two feet with out feeing paralyzed.

  14. Hi there -

I have read your LJ for a long time and just wanted to come in and say that you are looking so great these days! Your pics in the "you complete me" donut t-shirt and in your beautiful black dress are gorgeous!

I am so happy that you have accepted your teacher/friend's offer. Almost 9 months ago I did something like that for a friend of mine who had lost everything - job, parent, boyfriend, home. She was terrified to take the help that my husband and I were offering but she did and she is doing so great. She moves into her own apartment later this month. I know where your friend is coming from, Heidi. Asking someone to live with you is not a decision that people take lightly - I know that they only offered because they really care and want to see you at your best. And I am sure that all your readers want the same!
